A wave pool is a type of swimming pool in which reasonably large waves are artificially generated. The idea of such a pool is generally to provide an experience more similar to swimming in the ocean than a typical swimming pool can provide. Wave pools are often a major feature of water parks. These are maybe the newest type of attraction in water parks, and some amusement parks that include this type of things, people find it very relaxing to go to a wave pool, and if you don't live near a beach, it's very comfortable for the people that live near, even if the experience of going to the open sea is not the same as going to a wave pool, it creates a good environment for a while. These wave pools can be also used for little kids that don't know how to swim properly, so you can use it before going to the open sea to prevent anything that could happen. The wave pools have like any other game people watching for the safety of the others in the game, so only in rare situations something bad can happen to the person in the wave pool, but this is very strange because these wave pools are safe and watched so you only have fun in it.
